This series of three sculptures explores the internal spaces we retreat to, where we meet ourselves without expectation. Made from mid-fire clay with high grog, each form is built through a mix of throwing, hand-building, and improvised glazing. The vault-like setting appears confined, but acts as a protected interior — a place for connection with identity before status, gender, or instruction.
